Job summary

Pace is seeking a Lab Technician I to support sample preparation in the environmental testing laboratory. You’ll receive comprehensive training and have the opportunity to grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace.

Responsibilities include preserving, preparing and processing samples, maintaining documentation and databases, and participating in training on lab support policies. PPE is provided, and you’ll work in a collaborative, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves)
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required

• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses and gloves; all PPE provided by Pace®).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required
