Pace is hiring a Lab Technician I to support sample-related activities in our environmental testing laboratory in Lenexa, KS. You will receive training and contribute to a growing team dedicated to scientific excellence and real-world impact.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and are comfortable working in a lab environment with PPE. Prior lab experience is a plus, but not required, as Pace provides comprehensive onboarding and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform lab or office tasks and wear PPE.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Support lab sample-related activities: preservation, prep, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.

What you'll do

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing and maintenance
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses and gloves; all PPE provided by Pace®).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required
