Job summary

Pace is seeking a Lab Technician I to join our environmental testing laboratory. You will support sample-related activities, preserve and prepare samples, and help maintain documentation while working in a on-site lab environment in the United States.

You will receive training to grow an exciting laboratory sciences career, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience in a fast-paced, safety-conscious setting. Pace offers comprehensive benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves) with PPE provided.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices

What you’ll do

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing and maintenance
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses and gloves; all PPE provided by Pace®).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required
