Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System Laboratory seeks a department leader to provide accountability and oversight for the department, shift or area. This role sets the tone, models positive leadership, and ensures tasks and projects are completed to support departmental and organizational goals.

The position requires a health science or medical technology bachelor's degree, licensure (ASCP/AMT/NCA or equivalent), and at least one year of clinical laboratory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Health Science program or Medical Technology is required.
• Licensure as ASCP, AMT, NCA, or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in a clinical laboratory setting.

Required Qualifications

• Require a Bachelor's degree in a Health Science program or Medical Technology.
• Require to be qualified as an ASCP, AMT, NCA, or equivalent licensure.
• Require a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a professional capacity in a clinical laboratory setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer previous supervisory experience.
• Prefer the ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
• Prefer excellent communicator and listening skills.
• Prefer licensure as a Supervisor, under Chapter 483, Part IV, Florida Statute 61F-5.002 or able to qualify within one year.
