Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science or medical technology.
• ASCP Board certification within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum of five years of clinical laboratory experience; preferred.
• Maintains staff competency and training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule section staffing to ensure coverage.
• Develop and maintain SOPs; ensure document control.
• Oversight of inventory and supply requests per budget and volume.
• Manage laboratory information system (LIS) planning and maintenance.
• Supervise training, competency assessment, and performance evaluations.
