Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a professional Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Team. You will collect blood samples, perform venipuncture, and process specimens in compliance with CMS, CLIA, and Piedmont policies, supporting accurate patient care.

Preferred candidates have experience in clinical laboratories, familiarity with EKGs, and a solid understanding of specimen handling in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• One year of experience as phlebotomist, lab processor, or lab assistant; enrollment in MLT/MT may substitute.
• No licensure/certification required by law.

Responsabilités

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests per standards.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens.
• Assists technical staff with non-clinical tasks.
