Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking a Laboratory Systems Interface Analyst to act as the bridge between Laboratory Operations, IT, and external vendors. You will design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot lab system interfaces that ensure seamless data exchange between instruments, middleware, and the Epic EHR.

The role requires strong lab workflow knowledge, HL7 interface experience, and the ability to translate operational needs into system functionality.

Qualifications

• Certified Laboratory Technician (MLT/MLS or equivalent) or equivalent lab experience.
• Experience with laboratory workflows, LIS/EHR systems, and middleware.
• Knowledge of HL7 interfaces, data mapping, and code translation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory system interfaces.
• Ensure seamless data exchange between instruments, middleware systems and the Epic EHR.
• Collaborate with Laboratory, IT, clinical operations and external vendors.
