SGMC Health seeks a Laboratory Systems Interface Analyst to bridge Laboratory Operations, IT, and vendors. You will design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot interfaces linking instruments, middleware, and Epic Beaker/Lab to ensure seamless data exchange.

The Laboratory Systems Interface Analyst serves as the critical bridge between Laboratory Operations, Information Technology, and third-party vendors. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory system interfaces, ensuring seamless data exchange between laboratory instruments, middleware systems, and the Epic EHR. This position requires strong technical expertise, laboratory workflow knowledge, and the ability to translate operational needs into system functionality.
Work is primarily performed in an office, clinical, or laboratory-adjacent environment with regular use of a computer, telephone, and standard office equipment. Requires frequent sitting, typing, reading from a computer screen, and verbal/written communication with internal teams and vendors. May require walking to laboratory or clinical areas to support instrument connectivity, validation, troubleshooting, or workflow review. May involve occasional exposure to laboratory environments; employee must follow all SGMC Health safety, infection prevention, and PPE requirements when applicable. May require participation in after-hours support, downtime response, urgent interface troubleshooting, weekend work, or on-call support based on operational need. Occasional travel between SGMC Health locations may be required.
