Job summary

Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics seeks an Interface Engineer to design, develop, and maintain interfaces connecting clinical laboratories with HIS/EHR and LIMS systems. You will ensure secure data exchange, interoperability, and data integrity across healthcare platforms.

You will collaborate with clinical staff, hospital IT, and vendors to define specs, implement HL7, JSON, XML formats, and support ongoing projects while maintaining HIPAA compliance and data security.

Qualifications

• Ten years of healthcare IT interface development with HL7 and interface engines.
• Corepoint Integration Engine experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or Healthcare Informatics or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and data security/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interfaces between HIS/EHR and LIMS.
• Handle 3–5 concurrent interface projects; 90 day project cycles.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and IT teams to gather requirements.
• Implement HL7, JSON, XML data formats for interoperability.
• Troubleshoot interface issues and ensure data integrity.
• Perform testing/QA and monitor system performance.
• Participate in upgrades and system migrations.
• Communicate status to stakeholders.
