Job summary

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: High school diploma, GED certificate or vocational school diploma.
• Up to two years of job-related experience.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and lab procedures; inventory management; use of specialized computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and environmental tests.
• Perform basic machining with saws, drill press, mill, etc.
• Monitor tests and recording test data.
• Basic data processing using Microsoft Excel.
• Perform equipment maintenance and repair tasks.
• Set up/construct electrical and mechanical tests.
• Prepare basic test reports.
