Enters patient demographics and insurance information into the EMR and LIS.
Follows procedures and maintains specimen integrity for testing.
Logs patient and test information into LIS and verifies acceptable criteria.
Receives and processes specimens, monitors turnaround times, and prioritizes samples.
Trains new staff as needed and may travel between testing locations.
Provides patient/provider inquiries support and routes issues appropriately.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
