Qualifications

• Performs data entry and labeling of laboratory samples accurately and timely.
• Prepares laboratory samples accurately and timely for laboratory testing.
• May operate imaging system and retrieve requisitions or maintain filing system.
• Maintains knowledge of HIS and LIS systems and navigates common operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs data entry and labeling of laboratory samples accurately and timely.
• Prepares laboratory samples for testing and ensures proper labeling.
• Communicates with floors and physicians regarding tests, results, and labeling needs.
• May transport specimens and prepare paperwork for transfer to other departments or labs.
