Qualifications

• Or 3 years of related work experience in a health care setting, including other lab divisions within UR Medicine
• Ability to identify and resolve problems
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates the flow of specimens throughout the laboratory.
• Provides oversight of assigned section and holds staff accountable for professional conduct and technical performance.
• Performs a variety of technical assignments involving sequences of related operations.
• Trains new or less experienced staff and acts as Tech in Charge, as needed.
• Travels between testing locations, as needed.
