Job summary

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to identify patient needs and assist with test ordering and specimen collection.
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily workload to ensure timely registration and accurate order entry.
• Greet clients, perform patient registration accurately, and handle billing routing through Meditech.
• Perform phlebotomy and capillary collection when needed, ensuring specimen labeling accuracy.
• Coordinate courier dispatch and ensure prompt pickup of laboratory specimens.
• Verify patient identification and ensure proper labeling at bedside and chair side; assist in general lab duties.
