St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist (Phlebotomist) to serve as the primary link for customers in the laboratory, handling patient registration, order entry and review, and report distribution.

The role involves collecting blood and other specimens across all ages, performing capillary punctures when needed, and ensuring correct patient identification and labeling according to established guidelines.

Competenze

• Certificate preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Mansioni

• Organizes daily workload to achieve acceptable performance outcomes and adapts to changes in workload.
• Greets clients promptly, answers telephone inquiries, registers patients and ensures proper billing and report routing.
• Performs venipuncture and capillary sampling as needed with proper specimen handling and labeling.
• Coordinates and logs courier dispatch to ensure prompt pickup of laboratory specimens.
• Verifies patient identification and properly labels specimens at bedside per procedures.
