Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enter orders and receive all specimens in LIS; process specimens per testing requirements.
• Prepare send-out requisitions and samples for referral testing; ensure requisition validity.
• Competent in other departments such as Referral testing or Phlebotomy.
• Manage workflow in pre-analytical areas, front office, specimen collection and processing.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and a safe, professional work area for patient care.
• Follow hospital policies and conduct quality assurance, monitoring logs and LIS errors.
• Promote Lean culture and contribute to process improvements.
