Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician for Lake West Medical Center to perform specimen procurement, processing, and related laboratory support functions. The role requires efficient organization to meet turnaround times and adherence to PHI and UH policies.

Training provided during orientation, with duties including phlebotomy, data entry, and other established lab tasks. This position offers a sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform phlebotomy and data entry accurately.
• Ability to follow PHI protection policies and UH Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen procurement and processing of laboratory specimens.
• Organizes and performs tasks efficiently to meet departmental turnaround time standards.
• Performs computer data entry, laboratory processes including sterile technique, aliquoting and/or phlebotomy
• Processes specimens for laboratory testing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
