Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy knowledge with 6–12 months of clinical experience.
• Ability to communicate with clinicians, patients and families; professional on the telephone.

Responsibilities

• 70% Phlebotomy and/or specimen processing based on shift and location.
• Adherence to safety and infection control practices; strong customer service mindset.
• Communicate with physician office staff and clinical staff; assist patients and families.
• 5% maintaining competencies and mandatory education; 5% regulatory compliance with NPSG, CAP, OSHA, CMS.
• 5% training new employees and students; perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
