Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management in Ohio is seeking a detail‑oriented team member to support specimen procurement and processing in the clinical laboratory. You will help ensure accurate data entry and timely processing of specimens for testing.

Responsibilities include organizing tasks to meet department turnaround times, performing sterile technique, aliquoting, and phlebotomy as needed, and maintaining PHI security in compliance with UH policies.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy and specimen processing experience.
• Ability to enter data accurately in the LIS or lab systems.
• Adherence to sterile technique and safety guidelines.

A Brief Overview

• Performs computer data entry, laboratory processes including sterile technique, aliquoting and/or phlebotomy
• Processes specimens for laboratory testing.
