Job summary

Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, seeks a PRN Phlebotomy Technician to support the Medical Laboratory Team. You will collect blood, verify orders, label specimens, and transport them to processing while floating to other sites for coverage as needed.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED; formal phlebotomy certification is preferred. Shifts vary (6:00am-5:00pm or 8:00am-12:00pm) and Cleveland Clinic offers ongoing education

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Formal Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Clinical phlebotomy rotation/externship completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection procedures and venipuncture.
• Verify order requests and identify patient information before drawing blood.
• Label all specimens and deliver to the processing area.
• Perform specimen processing and related tasks (accessioning, centrifugation, packaging).
• Pick up and deliver blood and lab supplies as needed.
