Responsibilities

• Organizes and performs tasks efficiently to meet departmental turnaround time standards.
• Performs data entry and laboratory processes including sterile technique, aliquoting and phlebotomy.
• Processes specimens for laboratory testing.
• Collects or processes specialized samples with competence.
• Maintains a low error rate.
• Acts as a trainer and resource to other Specimen Processor Phlebotomists.
• Performs with minimal supervision and solves problems with little or no supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to policies and PHI handling requirements.
