- Performs specimen procurement and/or processing of laboratory specimens.
- Provides laboratory support functions.

- Organizes and performs tasks efficiently to meet departmental turnaround time standards.
- Performs computer data entry, laboratory processes including sterile technique, aliquoting and/or phlebotomy
- Processes specimens for laboratory testing
- Competent in the collection or processing of specialized samples.
- Performs with minimal error rate.
- Acts as a trainer and is a resource to other Specimen Processor Phlebotomists.
- Needs minimal supervision and problems solves with little or no supervision.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.

- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
- Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
- Part time 20 hours per week.
- Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.
- This is the evening shift that will start at 2:30 PM or 3:00 PM.
- Location is Elyria Medical Center.
- Inpatient population.
Sign-on Bonus:
This position is eligible for a$1000 sign-on bonusto eligible candidates. Eligible candidates must be newly hired to UH.
University Hospitals is offering a$1,000 sign on bonus,minus applicable taxes, for designated regular Phlebotomy positions.
Internal Applicants are not eligible for the sign on bonus.
