Job summary

Kettering Health Huber Heights is seeking a phlebotomist to perform pre-analytic processing, collect specimens by venipuncture or capillary puncture, and ensure accurate labeling and distribution across patient areas in a full-time daytime role.

You will also instruct patients on urine collection and tolerance testing, contribute to specimen transport and processing, and support other duties as assigned within our not-for-profit health system in southwest Ohio.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-analytic processing of specimens, collects specimens, labels and distributes specimens including blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture in all patient areas.
• Instructs patients in urine sample collection and tolerance tests in all patient areas.
• Other duties assigned.
