Pace Analytical is hiring for a lab support role to assist with daily lab operations, sample preparation and documentation in a safe, compliant environment. The position emphasizes teamwork and customer service as it supports testing processes and data management.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, handling samples, disposing of waste per guidelines, and assisting with policy implementation to meet organizational needs. A high school diploma is required, with preferred lab experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related work experience preferred.
• Experience in a lab or environmental setting is preferred.
• Familiar with lab safety and documentation practices.
• Ability to learn organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lab for daily operations, stocking materials and equipment.
• Supports analytical testing with standard lab support knowledge in sample preparation and documenting results.
• Picks up, transports, and maintains results, samples, documents, materials and other items as needed.
• Disposes of laboratory materials and samples following established guidelines.
• Reviews, completes and processes standard logs, documents, databases, and related materials.
• Provides support to staff and management regarding lab support policies, programs and practices.
• Assists with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations; escalates when required.
• Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers.
