Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year lab or environmental experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lab support principles and customer service practices.
• Ability to learn lab policies, document and database processes.
• Proficient with computer applications related to lab work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lab for daily operations by stocking materials and maintaining cleanliness.
• Support analytical testing through sample preparation and documentation.
• Transport and maintain samples, documents, and materials as needed.
• Dispose of lab materials following established guidelines.
• Maintain logs, documents, and databases; assist staff with lab policies.
• Support issue research and develop recommendations to resolve processes.
• Assist with compliance with laws and regulations; escalate when needed.
• Participate as a team member to improve department service.
