Zusammenfassung

Patient First is seeking a Lab Technologist/Technician to monitor test analyses, supervise lab staff, and ensure quality and safety across testing operations at our Sterling, Virginia centers.

You will assist physicians and nurses with patient care, perform required reporting, and maintain comprehensive lab records while upholding OSHA guidelines and company policies. Strong knowledge of medical technology and CPR certification are required.

Qualifikationen

• Must have thorough knowledge of Medical Technology principles and methodologies.
• Must be able to perform CPR and update certification as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communications required.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods and lift 20–50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Monitor tests and specimen analyses for analytic performance.
• Ensure remedial actions when test systems deviate from specs.
• Assist Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses with patient care and triage.
• Supervise lab personnel to ensure quality and adherence to procedures.
• Maintain records of laboratory tests for two years.
