Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology with a Medical Technologist credential and at least five years of hospital laboratory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related science field.
• Medical Technologist credentials from a recognized agency.
• Minimum of five years of hospital-based medical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise laboratory activities to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide clinical lab services in compliance with standards of care.
• Lead staff training and evaluate performance; enforce code of conduct and ethics policies.
• Review procedures, assist with data collection, and participate in quality control/PI activities.
• Communicate with Medical Staff and other departments to optimize patient care.
