Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processing Team Lead to join our Winston-Salem, NC team. You will supervise daily operations, coach the team and ensure accurate handling of specimens through the prep, analysis, and routing steps.

Responsibilities include process improvements, quality assurance checks, enforcing policies, and performing administrative duties as needed. Minimum qualifications: HS diploma or GED and 3+ years in lab, accessioning, data entry or production; preferred associates degree and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in lab, accessioning, data entry or production.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
• 2+ years experience as a people leader preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the department.
• Lead daily processes and procedures with the team.
• Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis.
• Oversee routing of specimens to prep areas.
• Encourage process improvements and best practices.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Enforce and manage policies and procedures.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
