Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in lab, accessioning, data entry or production.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory and 3+ years in a people leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of day-to-day operations of the department.
• Help lead the team in daily processes and procedures.
• Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Oversee routing of specimens to prep areas.
• Encourage process improvements and best practices.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Resolve production errors as requested by management.
• Research and resolve production errors and escalate when necessary.
• Engage in continuous process and service level improvements.
• Enforce and manage policies and procedures.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
