Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processing Team Lead to join our Cincinnati team. The role involves supervising day-to-day operations, guiding the team, and ensuring accurate specimen preparation for analysis in a fast-paced clinical laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in lab, accessioning, data entry or production
• Associates degree preferred
• 1 year or more experience working in a clinical laboratory
• 1 year or more experience as a people leader

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of day-to-day operations of the Department Name department
• Help lead the team in daily processes and procedures
• Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Oversee routing of specimens to their prep areas
• Encourage process improvements and best practices
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Resolve production errors as requested by management
• Research and resolve production errors while escalating when necessary
• Engage in continuous process and service level improvements
• Enforce and manage policies and procedures
• Perform administrative duties as needed
