Job summary

Pace Analytical in Lexington, VA seeks a Scientist I to perform basic chemistry/biochemistry analyses using standard instrumentation. This on-site, full-time role supports testing materials and documentation per SOPs.

You will review results, calibrate equipment, and assist with project tasks and data management. Requires a Bachelor's in chemistry/biochemistry and ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry or related field.
• Knowledge of standard chemistry/biochemistry practices and instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret and document testing results.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis using standard analytical instrumentation per SOPs.
• Review and document testing results and data.
• Oversight of forms, documents, and databases related to testing.
• Contribute to team with project objectives and budgets as needed.
