Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC in Lexington, VA, is seeking a Lab Technician I to join our environmental testing team. This position supports sample preparation, performs routine lab tasks, and works Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, contributing to our mission of delivering accurate data to safeguard communities.

You’ll receive training to handle samples, maintain documentation, and comply with safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves) provided by Pace.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
