Pace Analytical Services is seeking a dedicated chemist/biochemist to join our team in a role focused on standard chemistry/biochemistry analysis and policy oversight. You will use established procedures to test samples, interpret results, and support quality assurance initiatives.

The candidate collaborates with staff and management, maintains instruments and documentation, and contributes to cross-functional projects within a lab setting. A Bachelor's in chemistry/biochemistry is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry/biochemistry or related field.
• Strong knowledge of standard chemistry/biochemistry principles and practices.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide and/or oversee analysis of samples using standard chemistry/biochemistry methods.
• Review and document testing results and ensure quality assurance.
• Oversee or review documentation, databases and forms related to testing.
• Advise staff and management on chemistry/biochemistry policies and procedures.
• Maintain equipment, calibrations and laboratory safety.
