Job summary

Nelson Labs is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Receiving Technician to triage and deliver incoming samples to designated lab areas. You will log all required information, attach barcodes, and ensure proper storage conditions while following PPE and safety guidelines.

The role requires lifting up to 45 lbs, accurate data entry, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a lab/warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 with High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to work in a lab/warehouse environment and lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Triage and receive incoming shipments for laboratory processing.
• Log, document, and attach required information and barcodes.
• Deliver samples to designated lab areas and ensure correct storage conditions.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety guidelines at all times.
• Prepare datapacks and ensure submission forms are complete and signed.
• Maintain accurate records and report discrepancies promptly.
