Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to receive and process samples, delivering them to laboratory personnel for timely analysis. The role requires strong client interaction, data entry, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a deadline-driven environment.

This position emphasizes accurate sample handling, effective communication with non-technical staff, and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced lab setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental testing labs is strongly desired.
• Ability to communicate clearly with lab staff and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with FDA and EPA requirements.
• Proven ability to plan, organize, and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of client needs and act as liaison between client, account management, and lab staff.
• Manage logistics of client projects to meet timelines and cost targets.
• Receive and process samples, triage by requirements, and ensure timely analysis.
• Store and organize samples and maintain retention and disposal processes.
• Coordinate communications between internal departments and track project progress.
• Relay technical data to leadership and clients; identify new service opportunities.
