Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is looking for a detail-focused Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support lab and office operations. The role involves handling samples, documents, and materials, with emphasis on accuracy in receiving, scanning, storage, and preparation; shipping and disposal are also part of daily duties.

You will review and process logs, maintain databases, and assist staff on policy implementations while ensuring compliance and efficient team collaboration in a lab/office setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; one year lab/office experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license is often required.
• Experience with shipping/receiving and sample handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides services using warehouse and lab support knowledge covering sample administration, including receiving, scanning, storage, preparation, shipping, and disposal.
• Reviews, completes, and processes logs, documents, databases, and related materials.
• Picks up, transports, and delivers samples, documents, materials, and other items as needed.
• Cleans, maintains, and stocks supplies; disposes of materials per guidelines.
• Determines short-holds and rush samples and prioritizes based on project requirements.
• Assists staff and management with sample, equipment, and shipping/receiving administration policies.
• Helps ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to department efficiency and teamwork in serving customers.
