Job summary

Luxottica is seeking a hands-on Lab Quality/Operations Support partner in Indianapolis to ensure production accuracy, process compliance, and timely issue resolution. The role collaborates with production, quality, and leadership to maintain standards and drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced lab environment.

The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and proficiency with MS Office and optical testing equipment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and use good judgment.
• Computer skills including MS Office and optical testing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform real-time quality checks and correct issues on in-process orders.
• Investigate breakages, redo jobs, and defects; report findings to lab leadership.
• Own resolution of jobs with multiple breakages and ensure proper documentation.
• Analyze lab-level reports to identify orders at risk due to quality issues.
• Tag and escalate trays needing quality intervention for correction.
• Support root cause analysis on the floor for high breakage and redo rates.
• Support Expeditors by confirming quality-related delays.
• Provide defect data and context to Customer Quality Ops for RCA.
