Job summary

Tate & Lyle is seeking a lab technician to prepare the plant's scientific and medical lab for test samples, maintain equipment, and provide data to support findings. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to EHSQ policies.

Responsibilities include operating lab instruments, executing test methods, handling C of A requirements, and assisting with quality investigations in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Two (2) years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• CCPA/compliance with data privacy laws in jurisdictions where we recruit and hire.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate various lab instruments.
• Understand and perform test methods used in process and final product testing.
• Understand C of A requirements and specifications.
• Utilize SAP system.
• Enter data into Excel spreadsheets.
• Perform calibration and standard tests on lab instruments.
• Prepare and collect product samples for outside testing.
• Assist in investigations of quality issues and findings.
• Communicate with management on test results and projects.
• Follow safety and GMP policies.
