Job summary

The Process Lab Coordinator at Tate & Lyle in Hoffman Estates, IL will independently and safely operate process and lab equipment while supporting pilot work in the food processing labs.

You will ensure compliance with Food GMPs, maintain safety documentation, assist with preventative maintenance, and coordinate with Applications and Tech Service to run trials. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork and meticulous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college in Engineering plus food industrial experience preferred
• Proven knowledge of food processing equipment and GMPs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Operate process and lab equipment safely and independently
• Support pilot work and manage start-up inspections and safety analyses
• Assist with preventive maintenance and equipment lists
• Coordinate outside service of equipment as needed
• Maintain sanitation and safety records for all pilot runs
• Participate in food safety committee and ensure product safety
