Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Greenville, SC is seeking a part-time Lab Point of Care Coordinator to lead and support point-of-care testing across our hospital and clinic network. You will work with nursing, physicians, and lab staff to ensure accurate testing, fast reporting, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Required education and experience include an associate degree in MLS/Biology/Chemistry/Microbiology with 4 years lab tech experience and MLT/MLS certification; position

Qualifications

• Associates in Medical Laboratory Science/Biology/Chemistry/Microbiology required.
• 4 years of lab technician experience required.
• MLT or MLS certification by a recognized agency required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates point-of-care testing across multiple locations.
• Provides technical resources and daily direction to staff on policies and procedures.
• Ensures timely reporting, read back, and documentation of critical tests.
• Implements Point of Care devices and processes; maintains equipment.
• Collects data, analyzes QA/QC reports, and revises procedures as needed.
