Job summary

IFF in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking an organized Laboratory Operations Support professional to coordinate shipping and receiving, verify shipments, log materials, and prepare outgoing shipments in line with safety and regulatory requirements.

You will maintain inventory, perform audits, support lab upkeep, and enable smooth daily logistics, collaborating with scientists and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed.
• 2+ years in admin or laboratory support.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and structured working style.
• Effective communication and collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving of chemicals, biologics, standards and lab consumables.
• Verify incoming shipments against PO and docs; log and label materials.
• Prepare outgoing shipments in compliance with safety and regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels; perform inventory audits and maintain records.
• Support lab upkeep, glassware washing and workspace organization.
• Ensure timely availability of materials and supplies for daily lab operations.
