Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking a Logistician to join its Materials and Information Management team to support daily shipping and receiving activities with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and compliance.

You will coordinate end-to-end logistics, analyze data with Office/Power Platform, report to partners, and collaborate across sites to ensure timely and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with FAR/CFAR and government property requirements.
• Experience in logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze data and metrics using Office/Power Platform to track shipping/receiving performance and identify improvements.
• Attend meetings with site and corporate partners to report status and ensure procedures compliance.
• Coordinate end-to-end shipping and receiving activities, including documentation, orders, and carrier coordination.
• Engage with internal customers to understand needs and align plans with schedules and quality expectations.
• Perform daily vehicle fleet support activities and coordinate maintenance and safety checks.
• Plan and track fleet maintenance and inspections to ensure readiness and cost effectiveness.
