Job summary

IFF is seeking a Laboratory Operations Support professional in Wilmington, Delaware (on-site). You will join the Global Technical Quality team to coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics, ensuring smooth laboratory operations.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree and 2+ years of administrative or lab support experience, with strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed.
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative or laboratory support experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and structured working style.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of laboratory or logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving of chemicals, biologics, standards, and laboratory consumables.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Label, log, and track materials, samples, and shipments with accuracy.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for laboratory and office supplies.
• Perform inventory audits and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Support laboratory upkeep, including glassware washing and workspace organization.
• Enable seamless laboratory operations by ensuring timely availability of materials and supplies.
• Support daily lab logistics and processes to maintain operational efficiency.
