Job summary

Eurofins Aerotech Built Environment Testing in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Business Unit Manager to lead laboratory operations, drive profitability, and ensure safety and quality across all activities.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in lab settings, strong financial acumen, and strict adherence to EPA/DOT/OSHA regulations, with fluency in English and ability to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience equals one year of college).
• MS or PhD preferred for advanced leadership roles.
• At least 10 years of supervisory experience in lab settings.
• At least 10 years in laboratory operations with profit/loss responsibility (≈$5M+ net sales).
• Familiarity with EPA, DOT, OSHA, and DOL regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English proficiency required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead team, schedule, and train employees.
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations.
• Oversee budgeting, capital investments, and cost control.
• Foster morale, teamwork, and alignment with company vision.
• Coordinate with sales/marketing for major technical studies and client proposals.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental program compliance and documentation.
