Job summary

United WestLabs is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day program operations, ensure excellent service delivery, regulatory compliance, and cost-efficient performance. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will lead staff, manage workflow, monitor quality standards, and serve as a liaison with hospital partners and laboratory stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Clinical Laboratory Technology background preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive supervisory or management experience in a laboratory, healthcare, or related medical environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily program operations to ensure efficient workflow, exceptional customer service, and adherence to organizational standards.
• Ensure phlebotomy services are performed professionally, accurately, and compassionately.
• Monitor specimen collection and processing activities to ensure specimen integrity, accuracy, and quality standards.
• Maintain operational reports, performance metrics, and logs to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Review operational data and implement initiatives that improve efficiency, service quality, and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor laboratory operations to ensure timely testing and prompt reporting to providers.
• Maintain equipment calibration and regulatory compliance.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and CLIA compliance.
