Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is seeking a manufacturing technology professional for the Newark, Delaware onsite role. You will support technology initiatives, optimize processes, and collaborate across Operations to improve uptime and product quality.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, strong communication, and a track record in cross-functional teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Experience collaborating effectively within diverse, global, cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Understanding of safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing technology activities at the Newark site.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with Operations to optimize processes and uptime.
• Review and prioritize maintenance requests aligned with strategies.
• Develop and communicate maintenance and reliability programs.
• Lead or support reliability projects through data analysis and root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with Quality to maintain product quality standards.
• Contribute to Operational Excellence projects at other IFF sites as needed.
