Job summary

InfiniSource Consulting Solutions (ICS) is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the Lab Tech in glassware and media preparation and bulk solution handling. The role reports to the Laboratory Lead and requires adherence to SOPs.

Applicants must have a high school diploma with science lab experience and be able to pass a favorable background investigation for a PIV card. ICS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

• Must complete a favorable background investigation suitable for the issuance of a PIV card.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lab Tech with glassware decontamination and sterilization per SOPs.
• Prepare and deliver media and bulk solutions from dehydrated or defined media.
• Manage inventory of glassware, media components and MPW waste per regulations.
• Collect, segregate, and transport MPW waste to autoclave areas following MPW procedures.
• Maintain records for MPW waste streams and ensure compliance with USP, EPA, OSHA, and FDA standards.
