Job summary

InfiniSource Consulting Solutions (ICS) seeks a Laboratory Assistant to support the Lab Tech with glassware and media preparation, waste management, and MPW handling in a regulated environment. The role reports to the Laboratory Lead and operates within GMP-like guidelines, following USP, EPA, OSHA, and FDA standards.

Responsibilities include preparing media from dehydrated and defined components, sterilization of glassware, waste collection, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma with science lab experience.
• Background investigation favorable for Public Trust/PIV card.

Responsibilities

• Media and bulk solution preparation.
• Glassware decontamination and material management.
• Distribute MPW receptacles and collect MPW waste to autoclave areas.
• Maintain MPW forms and waste documentation.
• Package MPW materials and segregate hazardous waste.
• Autoclave MPW and dispose of waste per SOPs.
• Coordinate annual maintenance for media prep equipment.
• Keep storerooms clean to comply with Good Laboratory Practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
