Job summary

InfiniSource Consulting Solutions (ICS) is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the Lab Technician in glassware and media preparation, waste management, and regulatory compliance. The role requires performing media preparation, glassware decontamination, and MPW handling in accordance with USP, EPA, OSHA, and FDA standards.

The Laboratory Assistant will report to the Laboratory Lead, ensuring proper material management, waste disposal, and daily MPW transport to autoclave areas.

Qualifications

• Must have HS degree with science lab experience.
• Background investigation favorable for the issuance of a PIV card.

Responsibilities

• Support Lab Tech with glassware and media prep.
• Prepare media, glassware decontamination, and MPW handling.
• Manage MPW collection, labeling, and disposal per SOPs.
• Autoclave MPW and dispose per regulations.
• Maintain accurate MPW waste documentation.
