Job summary

InfiniSource Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the Lab Tech in glassware handling, media and bulk solution preparation. Qualifications

• Must have a high school degree with science lab experience.
• Must complete a favorable background investigation suitable for the issuance of a PIV card (Public Trust).
• US Citizenship is required for most positions.

Responsibilities

• Media preparation and glassware decontamination duties.
• Handle MPW (medical waste) including collection, labeling, and disposal.
• Maintain MPW forms and track waste streams for compliance.
• Autoclave MPW per SOPs and manage storage in designated areas.
• Provide and distribute MPW receptacles to laboratories and collection points.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance for media preparation equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized storerooms and comply with Good Laboratory Practices.
